Spelling Program

Every two weeks, brand new spelling words are given out. The words the students receive meet their individual reading and writing skill level.

In class, we work with the words during daily 5 (for word work), we do word sorts, we play memory games, we play a concentration game, we use the words to make sentences and we discuss the different rules for the sort.
